  • The smartphone driven user experience has left other electronic hardware solutions firmly in the last century. Basic character LCD menu interfaces are perceived as outdated and often restrict both the user and the product’s capability. Feature rich graphical interfaces can deliver higher levels of user understanding and product functionality however traditionally requiring a Linux subsystem with lengthy development these types of user interface were costly and inherently risky propositions until now.

    BHV’s chosen framework allows rapid development of feature rich and easy to operate user interfaces. Despite their capability, implementations exist on a single chip costing as little as USD$5.00. Developed code runs directly on the processor avoiding the support overhead of a Linux subsystem avoiding many of pitfalls such as security flaws and complex hardware integration

    Features such as icon driven touch selection, graphical carousel menus and gesture recognition create appealing electronic appliances. Interactions as simple as configuration menus through to fully functioning control surfaces key to the products operation can be realised using development frameworks.

    Despite low unit cost, the silicon options feature GPUs capable of fast image rendering giving the feel of high performance yet presenting a power consumption footprint equivalent to the “wearable” electronic product market.

Integrating into a range of solutions including PTZ controllers, our technology can offer rapid development of production control technology. Working with our partners, camera support manufacturer Polecam Limited we can offer robotic camera support systems and integration for studio production and automation.
